As any wellie-wearer knows, it only takes a small step of the imagination for fresh local ingredients to become a bottomless bowl of sumptuous seasonal soup.
This heart-warming story began in 1998 with two home-grown heroes looking to make a fresh start in deepest Devon. Brimming with bold ideas and good intentions our two have-a-go friends set themselves an altogether audacious undertaking. Namely how best to grow tasty, nutritious vegetables without endangering the environment.
Although organic was the answer, the final solution needed to be somewhat deeper.
